Abstract


Hidden drawings, scattered in the margins of some Late Antique manuscripts, show the murder of Amalasuntha, Theodoric’s daughter and Queen of the Osthrogots. The
drawing’s author, Eusebius, was a monk of Vivarium, who composed a visual commentary of the dramatic collapse of the Osthrogothic kingdom.
