Messina: alcuni epitymbia dalla necropoli ellenistica degli “Orti della Maddalena”

Abstract

This paper is about the epitymbia, datable to the period between the end of the IV and the second half of the II century BC, that came to light during an excavation campaign in 2010 at the Necropolis of ‘Orti della Maddalena’ in Messina. This study focuses on this very common type of burial in Sicily.
