Cugno dei Vagni (Nova Siri, MT): indagini elettrico-tomografiche a ovest dell’impianto termale

Abstract

This article aims to illustrate the preliminary results of the geophysical investigations continued in 2024 on the site
of Cugno dei Vagni (Nova Siri, MT) in the western sector. The investigations are part of a larger research project that
involves the entire site of Cugno dei Vagni coordinated by the “Università degli Studi della Basilicata” in collaboration
with the “Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio per la Basilicata”. Starting from 2023, the site of Cugno
dei Vagni is the focus of systematic and organic research that aims to deepen the role played by this area in the context
of internal and coastal relations in the Roman period.
