La ceramica enotria nei contesti stratigrafici dell’Incoronata (IX-VIII sec. a.C.). Produzioni, funzioni e cronologie

Abstract

The long-standing research conducted on the hill of Incoronata (Pisticci - Matera) by the Rennes 2 University have
allowed to reconstruct the contexts and the stratigraphy of one of the most important sites in the subcoastal area of
ancient Oenotria. This paper aims to present the documentation of Oenotrian ceramic production coming from one of
the ancient contexts of the hill, Sector 1 South, occupied by indigenous communities starting from the 9th century BC.
