Santa Maria d’Anglona. La cisterna del settore del Fortilizio: una prima analisi di studio e fasi preliminari del recupero

Abstract

As part of the “P.I.O.T. Metapontino - Basso Sinni” project, the cistern, present in the “Fortilizio” sector (north-eastern
corner), has been the subject of restoration and archaeological exploration of its filling levels. The text describes the redevelopment and safety of the cistern and its conservation intervention. In the realization of the work regarding the safety of the building, attention has been paid in order to make it visible to the visitor and, at the same time, to make it safe
and protected.
