Abstract

SVMMARIVM – Si omnia mutantur, si uere nihil interit, ut Ouidius in Metamorphoseon
libris ait, qua de causa ac ui hominum figurae in animalium imagines conuertantur quidque
corporun in mutatione plerumque permaneat hoc opusculum incaute inquirit.

ABSTRACT – In the Metamorphoses Ovid states that everything changes and nothing perishes;
therefore this paper intends to investigate – without Trigger warnings for highly sensitive
readers – what causes humans could be transformed into animals and what characteristic
could possibly remains unchanged during and after the transformation
