Abstract

We discuss the influence of the Gymnosophists on the Pyrrho’s doctrine in relation to what writes Ch.I. Beckwith, according to whom Greek skepticism is completely dependent on the Buddhist thought. !e author of this note claims instead that the main source of Pyrrho is to be identified in the Greek context.
