QUANDO SONO SCOMPARSE LE ASSEMBLEE POPOLARI DELLE CITTÀ GRECHE?

Adolfo La Rocca

Abstract

This article tries to answer to a long-neglected question: the end of the popular assemblies in the Greek cities.

to emerge: the Greek popular assemblies might have been abolished by an official act of the roman State in
the age of Diocletian or Constantine.
