ISCRIZIONI DA UN SANTUARIO ROMANO NELL’AGER DI FORMIAE (ITRI, LT)

Carlo Molle

Abstract

A small group of Republican inscriptions has been found in a Roman sanctuary recently discovered on the
Itri hills, in the Formiae (Latium adiectum) territory. There are a dedication to Fortuna and other fragmentary
epigraphs, sometimes engraved on stairway steps: these inscriptions concern curatores pecuniae (if not
curatores pecuniae conlatae) and works relating to the area monumentalization.
