Abstract

Federica Chiesa – Enrico Giovanelli

The Capuan terracotta votives uncovered in the sanctuaries of Fondo Patturelli (mainly) and Diana Tifatina, and now preserved in the Museo Provinciale Campano, represent one of the most considerable collections of these objects from ancient Italy. As the items have been removed from their original contexts, any economic considerations relating to them can only be made based on the variety of the objects and number of types evident, in order to examine the relationship between the customers (demand) and the workshop (supply).
