Abstract

ARCA Project (Academic Research Creativity Archives) offers an innovative digital solution for advanced
semantic and bibliographic research. Focused on interdisciplinarity, integration and sharing of technicalscientific
knowledge and skills between technologies and humanities, it suggests the combination of research
methods of humanities with the tools of the ICT world (Information and Communication Technologies).
The aim of ARCA is to create an integrated platform of editorial products and digital services that can offer
new semantic and bibliographic research methods and experiences, renewing the traditional method.
Oriented to current forms of development and multimedia production, cross-media distribution and digital
post-production, ARCA platform makes possible a creatively use of academic contents, transformed into
associable documents, overcoming the static nature of digital editions. Thanks to the semantic web ARCA
creates a wider network of shared and interconnected information.
