Abstract

RIASSUNTO. Il ricordo del ruolo svolto da Arnaldo Biscardi nell’ambito dell’Accademia Storico-Giuridica Costantiniana
è occasione per cogliere la sua figura attraverso alcune significative prospettive che ne caratterizzarono l’attività
scientifica, quella didattica e l’impegno civile. Emergono l’acribia dello studioso e la passione del docente,
l’attenzione al diritto vigente, anche straniero, non solo a quello antico, l’originalità delle intuizioni e la prudenza di
metodo, la passione per una società libera.

ABSTRACT. The memory of the role played by Arnaldo Biscardi in the context of the Constantinian Historical-
Juridical Academy is an opportunity to grasp his figure through some significant perspectives that characterized his
scientific, teaching and civil commitment. The scrupulousness of the scholar and the passion of the teacher emerge, the
attention to the law in force, even foreign law, not only for the ancient one, the originality of the intuitions and the
prudence of the method, the passion for a free society.
