Abstract

The report initially mentions the main document collections of the practical application of private Roman law published since the
beginning of the 19th century, with their respective characteristics. Subsequently, the contribution of this documentation is taken
into consideration in the reconstruction of the profile of some topics as it appears from an emblematic selection of the principal
Roman law Institutions treaties published between the 19th and 20th centuries.
