LE RAGIONI DI UN CONVEGNO

Abstract

The congress aims to honor Prof. Mario Amelotti on the occasion of his ninety-fifth birthday. In his scientific production the
documents of practice occupy a place of great importance. In fact, he was the editor of several documents and author of monographic
studies (in particular the volume on the will) in which the contribution of the documents of the practice is fundamental for
the understanding of the legal institutions considered. He also carried out various reflections in which he clearly exposed the different
functions that this kind of documents performs for the knowledge of the Roman legal experience.
