La montaña de diamante y la Tierra cúbica
Abstract
The present study analyzes some Christian texts, some of them anonymous, that describe
the trade routes from the East (from the biblical “Paradise”) to the extreme West (Gades,
in Hispania). These itineraries are an example of deformation, mixing myth and reality, by
Christian authors, who interpolate data into commercial itineraries for a geography of the
spread of Christianity towards the Roman West.
Key-words: Commercial Itineraries, Imaginary itineraries, Christian Topography, Spread
of Christianity.
