Epigrafi da Campagna Lupia (agro patavino)
Abstract
The epigraphs found in Campagna Lupia, in the easternmost part of the Paduan countryside, are
both funerary. The first, engraved on a stele, can be dated to the 2nd century AD. Two of those,
from Iuliae cathegory, are mentioned, with different patronymics. The final fracture prevents us
from knowing the dedicator. The second epigraph, dated to the first half of the 1st century AD due
to the absence of a surname, is engraved on a niche aedicule with the busts of the deceased, later removed.
At least three people were remembered, but only one of them has a known family name,
which has been preserved intact. Also for this text, the fracture leaves the dedicator unknown.
