L’enigma di due iscrizioni ad Avita Suioca: un’ipotesi ricostruttiva
Abstract
This study aims to analyze two inscriptions with a common thread. The first, a limestone figured
stele, at present preserved at the lapidarium of Flanona, current Plomin, in Croatia. The second is
reused as a window sill at the Villa Martin in Sambruson, a hamlet near Dolo, in the Venice region.
Despite the geographic distance that separate them, the two inscribed object present an onomastic
analogy that could create an interesting connection among them.
Keywords: Avita Suioca, Volsounus, Sambruson, Flanona, Plomin.
