Abstract


The Sarmizegetusa Archaeological Museum appeared as a logical necessity for sheltering
the many pieces discovered during archaeological excavations, but also to stop their migration
to other places or institutions (Figure 1). The testimonies of the scholars as well as the
evolution of the archaeological excavations awoke the interest of the kings of Romania, the
political class or the people of culture, as well as all those who loving past of any age, gender
or nationality for Sarmizegetusa and its ruins. Unfortunately, a register of visitors who
have le their signature sometimes accompanied by a few words in which they express their
opinion of what they have seen, we only have since 1932.
