As part of a project funded by the Thyssen Foundation, the antique albums of Alonso Chacón Rome, Biblioteca Angelica Ms. 1564,
Pesaro, Biblioteca Oliveriana Ms. 59 and Brunswick, Herzog-August-Museum Ms. H27-32 as well as the collection of drawings Florence,
Biblioteca Marucelliana, Stampe 104 have been made accessible to researchers in the arachne database. The review of the albums in the
course of this cataloguing has yielded further scholarly insights into their use, content, structure and sources, which are discussed in
this article.
