Abstract

This premise analyzes all archaeological evidence present in the area under examination. These are discoveries made during
archaeological excavations carried out over the last few centuries and especially during the last decades. The premise is necessary and
preparatory to the discussion of the archaeological problems concerning the area to the north of Trajan’s Forum.
