Il De Nabuthae historia di Ambrogio nell’edizione erasmiana del 1527

Abstract

Through the analysis of some pages from the Opera omnia by
Ambrose, that Erasmus published in Basel at Johann Froben in
1527, at the height of the Reformation, the essay carries out few
observations about the philological method of the great humanist
of Rotterdam. In the edition of all Ambrose’s writings, particularly
De Nabuthae historia= H+')58) '(5) &, ,6"+ &2" +"'!"+ ' /,++"/& &"4&=
without the errors of the vulgata, and to provide a synthetic biblical
/,55"*& '9,8& )7"/(-/ +"<"+"*/") &, ),5" loci of the Old and New
Testament.
