Abstract

Entering Saepinum from Porta Bojano and walking along the decumanus, which followed the ancient tratturale road, you left
the city from Porta Benevento: through this path you were able to dialogue with Saepinum’s history, past and present, thanks
also to the epigraphic communication. The ancient city thus acquired its own precise identity, with its social, administrative and
political tensions, revealing to us scientific itineraries that could have not been undertaken otherwise.
