OSCENITÀ, DEFORMITÀ E AIDÓS NELLE PITTURE VASCOLARI APULE
Abstract
Like the attic vase-painters of the fifth century. BC, in the following century one or more of their
apulian colleagues painted the obscene subject of vomiting, urination and dejection. The scatological
acts expressed the condition of alterity of the figures represented in different contexts, mythical,
comic, grotesque, and yet united by placing themselves on the margins of the institutionalized
behavioral code.
